2010
February 2010: Conferma launches CSP On-Demand, an independent Payment API which allows clients to interface their own booking tool with the Conferma solution.
2009
December 2009: Conferma and American Express form partnership which sees American Express making the Conferma Settlement Platform (CSP), Conferma’s automatic reconciliation and settlement tool, available for its card customers.
October 2009: Conferma launches Rate Analyser, a rate optimisation tool which monitors hotel rates and notifies hotel bookers of any favourable rate changes, allowing time to cancel and rebook if appropriate.
May 2009: Conferma launches Event Trustee, the first credit-based, automatic invoice settlement tool for event management agencies and venues.
February 2009: Work begins on the development of automatic invoice settlement systems for the consolidated air and rail markets.
January 2009: Conferma and Barclaycard scoop the award for best Business Travel Product in the 2009 Business Travel World Awards.
2008
December 2008: Paul Dermody OBE, is appointed as non-executive Chairman.
August 2008: Hillgate Travel, one of the UK's largest independent TMC's, integrates the Conferma Web service API (application programming interface) into their proprietary self booking tool FreeWay.
August 2008: Conferma signs a long term partnership contract to provide proprietary accommodation booking and direct connect technologies to Expotel Ltd, the UK's leading hotel booking agency.
February 2008: Conferma launches its API 2.0 Booking Engine, allowing travel management agencies to integrate Conferma content and Hotel Tracker settlement functionality into their own agent and client facing systems quickly and easily, without needing to connect to multiple providers individually.
2007
December 2007: Sabre Travel Network and Conferma launch Hotels@Desk, an online hotel booking tool exclusively for UK-based Sabre Connected agents to offer to their corporate customers.
November 2007: Conferma and Barclaycard launch Hotel Tracker, the Barclaycard proprietary product for CSP (Conferma Settlement Platform), the industry’s first online centralised hotel settlement solution to streamline hotel payments for businesses and resolve hotel billback issues.
October 2007: Portman Travel goes live with the Barclaycard Hotel Tracker hotel billing system powered by Conferma.
September 2007: Advantage, the largest consortium of independent travel agents in the UK, adds Conferma as a preferred supplier to its consortia of over 800 travel agents.
August 2007: Conferma signs a contract with Premier Travel Inn, part of Whitbread Group Plc, to distribute its inventory of 31,000 bedrooms to the corporate market via travel management companies for the first time.
August 2007: the company is awarded the coveted Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards compliance accreditation, the benchmark security standard to secure card payments and account data.
2006
The Galileo GDS is integrated into the Conferma hotel booking offer.
Conferma adds the first low-cost hotels to its database, working with Premier Inn to add a direct connection from their inventory of hotels into the Hotel Booker database.
2005
The first version of the Conferma hotel booking tool is launched, incorporating the Sabre Global Distribution System, GTA merchant content and the ability to manage agency allocation bookings.
2004
Conferma launches as an offshoot from NIS Europe, one of the UK's leading travel, hotel and conference booking agents, to develop on-line booking tools for the travel and hotel booking agency community.
