Barclaycard Commercial

Conferma developed Hotel Tracker in partnership with Barclaycard Commercial, Europe's number one issuer of Visa Commercial Cards with over 145,000 corporate customers.

Barclaycard is part of the Barclays Group and is one of Europe's largest multi-brand credit card and consumer lending businesses. In 1966, their credit card was the first to be launched in the UK and they went on to produce the first all-purpose credit card in Europe.

The company has always pioneered new forms of payments and is at the forefront of developing viable contactless and mobile payment schemes for today - and cutting edge forms of payment for the future.

Barclaycard Payment Acceptance is also one of Europe's largest acquirers and processors of plastic card transactions, with over 93,000 retailer and business relationships. In 2007, more than 3 billion purchases were made with credit and debit cards through 200,000 Barclaycard customer outlets in the UK.
